Nyarubuye is a small hamlet about 30 mins by moto from Nyakarimbi in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. It is the location of a Genocide Memorial to those who were killed in the large Catholic church and surrounding area in June 1994. At the time it was the subject of a BBC Panorama programme; Fergal Keane was the reporter. He later wrote about his experiences in Rwanda at the time of the Genocide.
